Announcements! (A terrible death to die…)
October 17th, 2007 | by TheSheepGeek |Those of you who used to be involved in Girl Scouts may get that…. the rest of you, well, some things cannot be helped.
So, a few announcements.
First, registration is closed. Someone snuck in, and, assuming they weren’t deleted for having no profile, they get to be the only lucky bum on the site. There will be no late additions. Two weeks is a lot of time, even for hard-core procrastinators.
Second, I have finished weeding out the list of participants. Please check the sidebar to make sure your name is still there. It probably is, but I (gasp!) make mistakes. Hopefully I escaped from this unscathed, but better just to check. If your name is not there, and you know you filled out your profile, you should email me ASAP. Once the final pairings are sent out, it will suck to be you.
Third, your profiles have been fabulous, and fun to read. The person who is allergic to “clown barf” yarn about killed me.
Finally, everyone please thank KnottyDaisy for being fabulous. Not only has she been working her tail off making sure this blog is working properly, she thinks she’s got a way to do the pairing so I don’t have to spend hours doing it by hand. Fabulous people rock, and it doesn’t get any more fabuous than this.
This is going to be so much fun! Can’t wait…Thank you sooooo much for doing all of this hard work. Hope you assign yourself a really nice partner…you deserve one!
Okay, okay…I wrote the yarn barf comment…but everyone knows what I mean, right??!
