You have the same partner(unless otherwise specified) but the first email cut off some information. If you have already been in contact with your partner you don’t have to contact them again unless you want to 
If someone drops out of the swap in the next couple of weeks then the person that was supposed to knit for that person will be assigned to knit for the person that the drop-out was supposed to knit for. I hope that makes sense! And I hope we don’t have too many drop-outs!
If you can please email your partner as soon as possible that would be great. Some people get a bit nervous when they haven’t heard from anyone! Don’t wait until the last day if it can be avoided!

I am really excited about knitting for my partner. Since this is my first swap maybe others could let me know (and others) what other kinds of gifts you usually send with your knit item.
The person knitting for me has me all crazy excited. She is so pumped about this. I can hardly wait to see what she does!!!
