The yarn is All Things Heather in Russet. I cannot wait to get started on a shawl for my swap partner. But first I have to finish all of the holiday gifts. Unless I can get some elves to show up. Sill elves.
completely gorgeous!!! Love that yarn. And..while we’re here..how did you get that gigant-o picture up on this site?? I can’t get a little one to show up.
I don’t know if this will be any help at all but I uploaded the photo on to flickr, then opened the wordpress make post page (which probably has a sexier name), clicked on the add picture icon, let it set the size from the flickr image and was done.
The photo was taken and uploaded with a fairly high resolution. Maybe that helped?
Hi..well, thats what I don’t get. My yarn photo is on Flickr, so its uploaded already. How do you get it to this page?
When you go to your photo on Flickr, right click on it. You should get an option to “copy image location.” Click that.
Now open a posting window on the loopy swap blog. Click on the icon with the little tree in it. In the dialog window, paste the picture’s URL in the image URL spot. Then “insert.”
This should give you the picture in the post box.
“Should” and “will” might be two different things, tho.
Wow that yarn looks tasty! If you find some Christmas elves and you have their friends come to my place? Several gift baby sweaters I did in the fall derailed my Christmas knitting.
