Grrrrrrrrr—-lace!
May 5th, 2008 | by kleewong |I’m knitting something lacy for my partner and it is driving me bananas! Actually, it is fun, but when I make a mistake, finding it is a bummer. Thank goodness for lifelines (although mot of my knitting buddies say, “Livelines are for sissies!” Mea culpa! I am a sissy! In truth, I love knitting lace. I just can’t gab or let my mind wander!
How’s everyone else coming!!!!!???? Come on, how about some chatter? You’re all quite quiet out there.
I haven’t started yet, because I’m still waiting for one component. However, I’m a little worried that I picked a pattern that is too challenging for the time I’ll have left. Hang in there on your lace–I’ve found that once you “get” the pattern, it goes a lot smoothly from there.
Boy, are your right! The second half went much better than the first. I am going to bind it off today and block it. Hoorah!
